“A Safe Place to Stay: Combating Homelessness, Police Violence and Jim Crow in Greensboro” – What do 200+ surveys, in-depth interviews, focus groups and police records tell us about homelessness in Greensboro? What is it like to try to access shelter in our community? What are interactions with police like? If someone gets arrested, do they receive adequate representation in court? Who gets arrested? For what? And what can we do about it?
